How we use your data
For the AI Readiness Assessment operated by Course Parse.
Who is responsible
Course Parse is the data controller for everything you submit through this assessment. The assessment is hosted on the courseparse.com domain, but it is operated as a separate service from the CourseParse study-tools product, and your assessment details are not shared with or used by it.
What we collect
- Your answers and score. Stored so your result page keeps working and so we can prepare your report.
- Your name, email, and WhatsApp number — only if you choose to give them in exchange for the full report. You can take the assessment and see your level and score without providing any of them.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to detect automated abuse of the assessment. We do not store the address itself and the hash cannot be reversed back to it.
Why we use it
To generate and email your report, and — where you have ticked the consent box — to contact you about AI coaching. That consent is separate from the report itself, it is never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email or writing to us.
Automated processing
Your score and the recommendations in your report are calculated by a fixed set of rules. A short introductory paragraph is written by an AI model, which receives only your numeric scores and the names of the skill areas — never your name, your email, or anything else you typed. Your report is a self-assessment snapshot for your own use. It is not a certification, a qualification, or an assessment of your professional competence.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is processed by the services that run this site — our hosting provider, our database provider, our email provider, and the AI model provider described above. We keep assessment results and contact details only for as long as they are useful for coaching follow-up, and delete them on request.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely — including your assessment result. Contact us and we will action it.
