How we use your data

Who is responsible

Course Parse is the data controller for everything you submit through the AI courses. The courses are hosted on the courseparse.com domain, but are operated as a separate service from the CourseParse study-tools product, and this data is not shared with or used by it.

What we collect

• Your name and email — given to unlock a free course beyond its first lesson. You can read that first lesson without providing either.
• Your progress and quiz scores, stored so the course remembers where you left off and can issue a certificate on completion.
• Your name on a certificate, if you complete a course and request one.

Why we use it

To give you access to the course content, track your progress, and issue a certificate. Where you have ticked the consent box, we may also email you about AI training. That consent is separate from course access itself, it is never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email or writing to us.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is processed by the services that run this site — our hosting provider, our database provider, and our email provider. We keep course and contact details only for as long as they are useful, and delete them on request.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Write to support@courseparse.com and we will action it.
