1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CourseParse ("the Service"), available at www.courseparse.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CourseParse is an AI-powered web application that converts uploaded documents — including PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and text files — into study materials such as summary notes, flashcards, quiz questions, and AI-assisted chat. The Service is provided by Mustafa Rasheed, trading as CourseParse ("we", "us", "our").
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using CourseParse, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@courseparse.com.
5. Uploaded Content
You retain full ownership of any documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant CourseParse a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your study materials. We do not share, sell, or use your uploaded content to train AI models.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload any content you submit. You must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, contains illegal material, or violates any applicable law.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid plans are processed securely through Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, tax, and compliance obligations on our behalf. By purchasing a plan, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.
Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day refund on all paid plans if you are not satisfied with the Service. To request a refund, contact us at support@courseparse.com within 7 days of your purchase. One-time purchases (Starter Pack) are eligible for a full refund within 7 days if no study packs have been generated.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Share account access with others outside of organisation plan allowances
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service
- Resell or redistribute generated study materials commercially without permission
9. Intellectual Property
The CourseParse name, logo, interface, and underlying software are the intellectual property of CourseParse. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated study materials are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You should always verify generated content against your original source material.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourseParse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or academic outcomes.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saudi Arabia.
