- What can I upload?
- PDF, Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) files, plain text, and photos of a page (PNG or JPG) on every plan. Files can be up to 50 MB, which covers most full lecture decks. Scanned PDFs with no text layer need Pro, because they have to be read with OCR page by page.
- Does it work for my subject?
- It works from the text of your own material, so it is not limited to a list of subjects. Students have used it for nursing, biology, law and civics courses. Clean digital files give the most accurate results.
- My lectures are not in English. Will it work?
- Yes. The notes, flashcards and questions come out in the language of the file you upload, so a French law deck produces a French study pack.
- Is the free plan enough for a whole term?
- The free plan gives you 5 study packs a month, 15 AI tutor messages a day and no card requirement. If one pack a week is not enough, the Starter Pack adds 10 packs for a one-time $4.99 that never expire, and Pro gives 20 packs a month.
- Is using this allowed by my university?
- Course Parse builds revision material from notes you already have; it does not write assignments. Revising with flashcards and practice questions is ordinary study.
